PTFE Expansion Joint (also named PTFE bellows compensator, Teflon flexible connector) is a corrugated flexible piping component manufactured from high-purity virgin PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) via integral molding or isostatic pressing. Installed between pipe sections, it compensates pipeline displacement, buffers mechanical vibration and offsets thermal stress from temperature change, specially developed for corrosive, high-purity and extreme-temperature industrial piping systems where metal or rubber joints fail quickly due to corrosion and aging.
